East Kent Plein Air 2020 is an open air painting event open to all artists both amateur and professional.
The Artists are free to paint anywhere in and around the historic town of Sandwich Kent.
Artists are invited to create a single artwork within the allotted time of 5 hours on Saturday 11th June 2022.
The work will be exhibited on the same afternoon, in an our exhibition gazebo where awards will be presented, all work being on sale throughout the day.

The annual ‘Little Gardens of Sandwich’ returns after a two-year hiatus but promises to be as well-received and inspirational as ever.
Entry tickets for all locations are priced at £7.50 per person whilst children under 16 are welcome to come along at no extra cost as long as they are accompanied by an adult.
Cream teas will be priced at £3.50 each.
Tickets can be bought in advance from the Sandwich Tourist Office at the Guildhall and will also be available on the day at each garden
All proceeds from the event go to the upkeep of St Clement’s Church in Sandwich.

There is no one in music quite like Mark Harrison. With his band, or in solo or duo form, he is widely considered one of the most original and interesting artists currently operating in the UK.
His highly individual, all-original music goes down very well with audiences of all kinds, and it has taken him and the band to some of the top venues and festivals in the UK, attracting acclaim wherever he goes.
Recent appearances on BBC Radio 2, as guest on Cerys Matthews’s show and on Anneka Rice’s Pick Of The Week show, have further added to his growing reputation.

Richard Digance is a BAFTA Nominated entertainer and a recipient of The Gold Award from The British Academy of Composers and Songwriters. He has also won a Sony Award and is one of only three British folk singers mentioned in The Virgin Anthology of Songwriters for his contribution to comedy songwriting.
Richard Digance has supported such stars as Steve Martin, Robin Williams and played a guitar duet with Brian May of Queen.

Let the local History Society Guides inform and entertain you as they personally conduct you around the narrow twisting streets of our medieval town, one of the original Cinque Ports.
Whether you are organising a trip for schools, societies or groups, or if you are a family on holiday, History Society tours are a great way to see the sights and appreciate some of Sandwich's history.
Tours can take around two hours and cost £2 per person, with a minimum charge of £12.
